Product Review: Maybelline Big Eyes Volum Express

Hey guys, sorry there was no post yesterday, I was doing a lot of background stuff on the blog and it kind of burnt me out a little, I hope you enjoy today's post.

I'd like to thank my kitty cat Angel
for being my background
Today I am going to review Maybelline New York's 'Big Eyes Volum Express' mascara. I was given this mascara by my mum who had held on to it for a while and one day i asked her if she had any mascara i could borrow, as we were going to some kind of last minute event. She gave me this that was accompanied by a double ended eyeliner that was also for a big eye effect. I tried the eyeliner once and kinda left it as i already had an eyeliner i was happy with.

I really love this mascara though. I have never really been that big of a fan of mascara as I wear glasses and have naturally long eyelashes so every time I used any type of mascara whether it be a good or bad one it would hit my glasses and make them all kinds of dirty, which was never fun. So I just didnt use it, until now.

This mascara gave a kind of curl to my lashes that i hadnt gotten from other mascara's. It was easy to apply and the liquid never clogged on the brushes (unlke the one i am currently trying) the product actually did what it was supposed to do and gave my eyes volume (or volum, whatever you want to say) it made my eyes looked big, and honestly it made me want to give mascara another chance. (hense why im using clumpy mcclump)It probably lasted about three months with about three times a week usage, I did use this until finish and I will be buying it again.

Positively when i was researching something a little while ago, I found out L'Oreal (who owns Maybelline)no longer tests their products on animals.
I took this quote from the Maybelline Website:
L’Oréal no longer tests any of its products or any of its ingredients on animals, anywhere in the world nor does L’Oréal delegate this task to others. An exception could only be made if regulatory authorities demanded it for safety or regulatory purposes.
which makes me even more comfortable to try out some more beauty products that i have been holding off from trying, because of the animal testing thing.

So I do recommend this product, it ranges from $15-20 depending on where you get it, and I'm pretty sure it should be available world wide.

Have you tried this mascara? Do you have a different one you would prefer? Let me know in the comments or on my twitter @moniquediplock
